Deleting your data

How to have ViralPony delete your account and everything it holds about you, and what happens when you do.

How to ask

Email support@viralpony.com from the address you sign in to ViralPony with, and put “Delete my data” in the subject line. There is no delete button in the app yet, so deletion is done by request.

If you can no longer use that address, tell us which address your account uses. We’ll confirm the account is yours before we delete anything.

What we delete

  • Your account: your email address and sign-in details, including a Google sign-in.
  • Your brands: the websites you gave us, the pages we read from them, brand briefs, content angles and logos.
  • Your content: posts, their slides, captions and titles, the images and videos we rendered, and photos you uploaded or had made in ViralPony.
  • Your calendar: the accounts you listed, your scheduled posts and the links to posts you marked as posted.
  • If you connected a social media account to ViralPony, the access we hold for it.

What we keep

Records we are required to keep for legal, tax, accounting or security reasons, such as payment and billing records. Payments are handled by Stripe, which keeps its own records of them under its own privacy policy.

Deleting your data from ViralPony does not remove anything you have already posted on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or elsewhere. Delete those posts on the platform itself.

How long it takes

We delete your data within 30 days of confirming your request, and email you when it’s done.

Removing ViralPony from other services

If you signed in with Google, or connected an Instagram or Facebook account, you can also remove ViralPony’s access from that service at any time. This stops ViralPony reaching the account; to delete what we hold, email us as described above.

  • Google: in your Google Account, under Security, open your connections to third-party apps and services and remove ViralPony.
  • Instagram: in Instagram’s settings, under Apps and websites, remove ViralPony.
  • Facebook: in Settings, under Apps and websites or Business integrations, remove ViralPony.
